Based on specs found on the GFXBench benchmark site, Samsung is following up on last year's Android powered Samsung Galaxy Folder flip phone with a sequel.The Galaxy Folder 2 was recently put through the GFXBench benchmark test and as a result, partial specs for the handset have been revealed. As the name suggests, it is basically the successor to the Galaxy Folder Android flip phone. As per the listing, the Galaxy Folder 2 features a 3.8-inch touchscreen display with WVGA (480×800 pixels) resolution, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. To handle the graphics, there is Adreno 308 GPU. While we don't have the overall dimensions, it's going to be small and beneath the tiny panel of glass, you'll find the chip known as the Snapdragon 425.
The company seems to have replaced the 2MP front-facing camera on the Galaxy Folder smartphone with a 5MP sensor on the upcoming Galaxy Folder 2. It also came with an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel selfie camera, 1,800mAh battery, and connectivity options like 3G support. The smartphone will be only available in Asia. Compared to W2016, the Galaxy Folder comes with an affordable price tag and basic specifications.
The South Korean tech giant is also rumored to be working on a high-end clamshell smartphone that will be sporting the specifications of Samsung Galaxy S7. The alleged Samsung Veyron smartphone has a model number of SM-W2017.
