Samsung is rumored to launch its next generation Galaxy Note phablet, the Galaxy Note 7, at its unpacked event, which is rumored to take place on on August 2. While Samsung has not yet confirmed anything about the Note 7, details about the smartphone have continued to emerge ahead of an official launch. Now, a device codenamed SM-N930R6, believed to be a variant of the Galaxy Note 7, has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site.
While a variant with codename SM-935F running Exynos 8893 was recently spotted on the same benchmarking site, the new variant comes with Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. Interestingly, the Galaxy Note 7 is rumored to come with 6GB of RAM. The benchmark test reveals single core and multi core scores as 2330 and 5360, respectively. In comparison, the Exynos 8893 variant scored 2300 and 8110 for single core and multi core respectively.
The listing reveals the smartphone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and will most probably be upgraded to Android Nougat. Summing up the recent rumors and leaks, the Galaxy Note 7 will have a 5.8-inch of 6-inch dual edge curved Super AMOLED Display. The smartphone is likely to be available in 32GB and 64GB storage variants. There are possibilities of a 256GB storage variant of the Galaxy Note 7 as well.

For photography, the Galaxy Note 7 will have 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-pixel technology same as the Galaxy S7. The Galaxy Note 7 is also likely to include IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
One of the major upgradations that the Note 7 is rumored to have is the USB Type-C port for fast data transfer and charging. Other key features of the Galaxy Note 7 are likely to be an iris scanner for biometric authentication and an improved S Pen stylus with new Air Command features.
