I have and it's a no-go for me too, too many problems from unintended presses on the screen when trying to use it one handed.
Maybe a lot of people don't use bigger phones with 5.5 - 5.7 inch screens one handed, but I happen to have rather large hands and that's the comfort zone for me, 5.0 - 5.3 inch devices actually feel too small in my hands.
The curved screen creates so many problems for me, especially with typing and hitting keys or icons on the edges of the screen.
The curved screen is just a gimmick, even if you like the features they added to the edge, it's still a gimmick all of those features could be added to a phone with a flat screen.
People just like them because they think they look pretty, but to me they actually degrade the quality of the screen, especially while watching video. Give me a flat screen, or I'm sticking with my current daily driver the Note 5, which has been the best phone I've owned. I really hope that though it seems inevitable that the Note 7 will be delivered in a edge only variant, they see a dip in sales and conclude they need to bring back the flat screened note with the Note 8, otherwise I'll have to abandon the note line.
