Need a new phone? Starting tomorrow, T-Mobile will give you one for free.
T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy On Us promotion will give new and existing customers a free Samsung Galaxy On5 or Galaxy J7. To qualify, you'll need to enroll all lines on your account to a 6GB or 10GB rate plan. Existing customers on 6GB or 10GB rate plans qualify, too, so long as their plan has T-Mo's current pricing. Customers on the 6GB plan can get a free Galaxy On5, while folks on a 10GB or higher plan can get an On5 or Galaxy J7.
If you do sign up for this promo, you'll need to pay tax on the full price of your free phone. You'll then get 24 monthly charges on your bill for your phone, along with 24 monthly credits to cancel those charges out. If you cancel service or switch to a lower data plan any time during those 24 months, you'll have to pay the remaining cost on your phone.
The Samsung Galaxy On Us promo will launch tomorrow, July 13, and it'll be available from T-Mobile stores, authorized dealers, and telesales. T-Mobile will offer it through its website "soon."
T-Mobile will also offer a family plan with four lines, each with 6GB of data. Pricing will be set at $120 per month, and you can add more lines with 6GB of data for $30 apiece. With this offer, you can take advantage of the Samsung Galaxy On Us promo to get a free Galaxy On5.
