NEW DELHI: As the Samsung's annual Galaxy Unpacked event gets closer, the rumour mill has been going into overdrive regarding the company's upcoming high-end Galaxy Note device. While the famed smartphone tipster Evan Blass recently claimed that the device to come will go by the Galaxy Note 7 moniker instead of Galaxy Note 6, a new post from him now gives us an insight into the specifications.
Latest set of specifications coming from a Chinese microblogging website Weibo also indicate similar innards.
According to the post on Weibo, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will arrive in two variants based on processors. While one model will boast Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, the other will feature company's own Exynos 8893 chipset. The Exynos-based variant is expected to launch in developing markets, while the Snapdragon-based variant will be for developed countries like the US.
Some of the other rumored specifications include 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB inbuilt storage with microSD card slot, and 4000mAh battery with fast-charging support. It would run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with its new Grace UX on top. A new S-Pen might also debut alongwith the device. Rest of the specifications are similar to the ones mentioned by Blass.
